At first I thought there was no way a band can play a full sound without a bass player. But Damn!, I am totally wrong. The sound of M&A is nearly larger than any whale. Bigger than all the 5-6 piece horn bands we hear at all these blues festivals.

You guys are awesome. I listen to Bluesvile on XM whenever I am out in my yard or in my pool. I was in my pool and your song Pittsburg In The Morning played and flipped up on my TV screen. I jumped out of the pool and wrote down your name and album title. You guys are damn good. I just bought your 1861 CD. You guys need people to hear you. I hope you find that right situation that gets everyone to notice. I will spread the word in my world. Freak'in awesome talent and down home soul delivery is my assessment. just spent four days in helena ak. had great time you guys kicked ass john alex mason kicked ass too.i was there when richard johnston was told to cut his music down and allthe bullshit went down ihate that happend we missed himsaturday.one of my buddies went talk to the official and he said if rich would apoligize hed let play saturday went and told richard what he said oh cool he says and walks over to the guy and the next thing you know hes cussin the guy out again we had to laugh our asses off knowing good and well wewant see richard back the next nite we hada blast guys hope to see you again next year
